So, after the intial successes of AMD in the processor market, have intel now delivered the 'master-stroke'? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8232995.stm With the competition laws we have I thought that this kind of thing would not be allowed. Not that I'm complaining really but I'm sure AMD will be pretty pissed off by it!

It's a very shady trick by two of the worlds largest corporations, and in my view it should be frowned upon the world overm but of course. . it won't be.

To be honest, I think if somebody produced a better product people would quite happily use it so there isn't really a question of somebody 'conering the market' simply, it will just take a little longer for a competitor to bring their better product to the masses. In my humble opinion.
