Hi all,

I've decided that my current motherboard is not really as good as I had hoped for overclocking my Q6600 'G0' CPU. Just wondered if anybody had any suggestions for me. Don;t really want to spend more than £100 if I can help it.
Thanks

Hi Spienis,

Have look for this motherboard "Gigabyte GA-EP43C-DS3 Intel P43". To be honest if your looking for something for mega overclocking you really need to be spending up to £250 but that board is certainly a good buy considering your budget I feel. If your going to be using an NVidia Graphics Card it's also worth downloading their own automatic tuning utility. Im pretty sure you can just go ahead and download it straight from the NVidia website. Pretty Good if your new to overclocking.

I'd recommend taking a look at some of the EVGA boards out there. I've not used one myself but people I know who have say they are pretty stable, even on some monster overclocks. . .
